Teamsters Local 213 welcomes Ernie Borrelli our new dispatcher. Ernie replaces former dispatcher John
Hoare who retired in October.
Ernie is a second generation Teamster who worked at Tree Island Industries for the past 20 years. Ernie
worked in the warehouse and as a shipper and was also a first aid attendant and a member of the Joint
Health and Safety Committee. His father, Gino Borrelli, retired from Tree Island after 35 years of service.
A Teamster member for over 24 years, Ernie said “I’m ready to become more involved with my local
union and was excited when the opportunity came along and for the changes and challenges it will
bring.” Ernie started his new position as dispatcher on Jan. 2, 2013.
